University of Delaware Science and Technology Campus

In late 2010, TUFF was engaged by the University of Delaware to lead a team of design and development professionals in the study of a proposed science and technology campus.  In 2009, the University purchased an abandoned Chrysler automotive manufacturing plant adjacent to their campus.  The site is 272 acres and will literally double the footprint of the campus when build-out is complete.

The University of Delaware sought to leverage TUFF's unique knowledge of research parks and the critical financing techniques to make them a reality.  Together with renowned architects and consultants, TUFF will deliver a plan of action to convert this vast field of concrete and steel into a vibrant mixed-use research campus.
