Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced a nine-member board, on Friday, to lead the Westside Future Fund. The nonprofit foundation will seek to raise more than $30 million to help with redevelopment of the historic Vine City, English Avenue and Castleberry Hill neighborhoods.

The Westside Future Fund will work with Invest Atlanta and The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation who are already heavily involved in the neighborhoods.

TUFF owns and operates a research facility on the edge of the English Avenue and Vine City neighborhoods and has been involved with Invest Atlanta and The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation in economic improvement discussions and Federal EDA grant applications.
