Leading universities develop meaningful strategies to drive innovation throughout their institution. AURP member, UC Davis, has announced the creation of a new innovation campus in partnership with Sacramento. Chancellor Gary May and Sacramento Mayor, Darrell Steinberg, have established a joint exploratory group to create a framework for the new technology and innovation campus called Aggie Square. The square is modeled after Atlanta’s Tech Square, which Chancellor May helped bring about during his time as Georgia Tech’s Dean of Engineering. Read more here.
