Tommy joined TUFF in 2026 as Vice President of Real Estate. In this role, he oversees TUFF’s real estate portfolio, evaluates new investment opportunities, manages existing assets, and supports strategic initiatives that advance the missions of the universities and research institutions TUFF serves.

Tommy brings 20 years of experience in real estate investment, portfolio management, and strategic planning. Prior to joining TUFF, he spent nearly 14 years with Domain Capital Group, where he served as Director of Investments and was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing investments across real estate and alternative asset strategies. While at Domain Capital Group, Tommy closed nearly $1 billion in equity and debt investments on behalf of institutional investors.  Earlier in his career, Tommy held positions with GE Capital Real Estate and RCLCO, developing expertise in valuation, market analysis, and investment strategy.

Throughout his career, Tommy has focused on identifying opportunities, structuring investments, and managing assets that create long-term value. He looks to combine financial discipline with strategic thinking to support mission-driven organizations and is excited by the opportunity to help universities and research institutions advance their missions through creative real estate solutions.

Tommy earned his bachelor’s degree from Emory University and received his MBA from Georgia State University, with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance.  He received his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation in 2015.

Outside of work, Tommy enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, often supporting their athletic and extracurricular activities. He appreciates opportunities to be outdoors and values giving back to his community through service and mentorship.
