Kyle joined TUFF in 2024 as Vice President of Finance.
Kyle has held numerous finance and accounting positions over the last 15 years in both public accounting as well as roles in government and the private sector. He started his career with the U.S. Treasury Department and subsequently moved to public accounting in Grant Thornton’s external audit practice. He later worked for Ernst & Young’s M&A consulting group for five years, providing support on transactions ranging from $10M to over $2B for both corporate and private equity clients. Kyle has also had several private sector roles since leaving public accounting, most recently serving as the Corporate Controller for Roark Capital Group, a private equity firm with $37B in assets under management.
Kyle is passionate about building best-in-class teams and utilizing technology to streamline efficiencies. He has significant experience in developing processes and systems to increase productivity, and he enjoys understanding how financials and data impact the broader organization. He was drawn to TUFF based on the unique opportunity to work on complex transactions for a mission-based organization serving a niche market.
Kyle received his B.S. from Bryan College in Finance and Business Management, and he holds a Master of Accounting from Georgia State University. Kyle is a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia.
In his free time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family, and his weekends are usually full of attending youth sporting events for his two children, Matthew (8) and Hallie (6).
