Thomas’s interests surround real estate development, venture capital, international relations, economic development, and solving problems using data driven solutions.

On campus at UNC, he is part of the Kenan-Flagler international business scholarship program, GLOBE, and involved in leadership roles at student organizations that focus on poverty alleviation and community empowerment. He serves as the vice-chair of solar equipment at SolarEquity, a student run non-profit that focuses on solarizing affordable housing in North Carolina, is a team member of the Refugee Community Partnership, which supports the refugee community in Chapel Hill, and serves as Treasurer for the International Student Organization, which helps ease the transition of international students to life in the US.
