On May 1 2024, the Atlanta Hub office of Vanderbilt University (VU) hosted a focused roundtable led by Data Science Institute (DSI) at Vanderbilt University Director, Jesse Spencer-Smith. The purpose of the session was to gather Atlanta’s leading data science leaders to explore how VU’s DSI students can work with corporate partners to solve immediate challenges in the area of generative modelling, ethical AI and prompt engineering.
In May of 2023, TUFF expanded its portfolio of university-anchored Assets with acquisition of 2100 West End Avenue in Nashville, TN, anchored by VU. The property houses several Vanderbilt senior administrators and vital university departments including investments, development, alumni relations, communications, and general counsel. The building also supports the Vanderbilt business incubator, Launch, which is designed to support pre-seed and seed-stage venture founders in a wide array of sectors. Through this acquisition, TUFF’s goal was to support the overall Vanderbilt community and promote a live, work, play, learn environment similar to other projects in TUFF’s portfolio such as Tech Square in Atlanta, GA.
TUFF looks forward to continued collaborations at our Innovation Center in Tech Square in support of Vanderbilt’s growing role in linking Atlanta and Nashville innovation strategies.
